In society, unique thinking has been imposed, which classifies you as a person, as a professional, as a parent or as a citizen. It judges and categorises you if you are not on their ground, if you do not think like them. A movement that they have called feminist only on one idea, which is politicised and poisoned to win votes and to enrich the alleged imperative morality of the creators and supporters of this ideology. Feminism in Spain does not represent women, but only a few political parties, and if you do not vote them, you do not have the right to fight for your rights.

This is also extrapolated to the rest of Europe, increasing hatred between politicised societies and people. Dividing.

From VOX, we fight for a Law on Intra-Family Violence that extends special protection to any aggression committed within the family unit. We want to ensure everyone’s protection, equality and the presumption of innocence.

The concept of “gender-based violence”, such as that of “male violence”, serves to criminalise men by making them suspect of being an abuser and violent because of being a man.

This concept seeks gender war: create disputes and gender gap. They also seek to destroy the family core, which is at the heart of our nation and of any civilised society.

There is no law as radical in Europe or in any democratic country as is currently the case in Spain. Nobody in Europe has dared to imitate this law, despite the fact that it has been in force in our country for 15 years. This law establishes special courts for men. Courts dealing with gender-based violence are exceptional courts, expressly prohibited by the Constitution and the rule of law, which are inherent to other regimes. They do not exist in any European country.

Our work is focused on the individual.

In VOX we condemn violence from wherever it comes and all the victims are equally regrettable.

Employment has always been at the forefront of European citizens’ concerns. Global crises have always hit our country. Spain is already the country in the European Union that destroys the most jobs. Looking at annual figures, 1,215,600 jobs have been lost in Spain out of 3,613,800 jobs across the euro-zone. In a word: one in three jobs destroyed in Europe was Spanish. The left-wing Government in Spain appears to pursue the small and medium-sized entrepreneur and does not favour the big wealth generators in our country. European support cannot be the excuse for refraining us from reforming a rigid labour market at the whim of a few. The lack of care not only in employment policies, but also in the individual, at the worker’s level, is what we fight against from our political group and from our delegation. Focusing on the person, the individual and his/her rights is the proposal on which we focus in each report and vote of this Committee of which I am a member.
